Town of Aurora has implemented deferrals for the 2021 interim property tax bill payments for residential property owners that have been financially impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Eligible applicants will have their 2021 Interim Tax Bill payments deferred.
Each application must be completed by the owner(s) of the property. A confirmation of your eligibility will be sent by email.
Applications must be submitted by the property owner. If applicants wish to defer their payments, they need to submit an application prior to each due date with their up to date documentation.

If you are registered for pre-authorized payment (monthly or due date):
If you currently pay your property taxes through a pre-authorized debit plan and want to take advantage of the deferral program and delay payment of your interim property tax bill, your pre-authorized debit plan will be cancelled once your application form has been approved. Should you wish to reinstate your plan for next year, you will be required to submit a new application form by December 31, 2021.
If your mortgage company pays your property taxes:
If your application to the deferral program is approved, you must contact your financial institution directly and advise them to delay your payments.
