Aurora's Street Pole Banner Program allows for temporary banners to be installed on existing Town street pole assets and infrastructure to provide creative and aesthetically appealing promotional opportunities for the Town of Aurora, community groups and businesses.
Please note: This application is for street pole banners for the 2024 calendar year.

Applicants must include a design of their proposed street pole banners with this application. Applicants must review the Banner Design Specifications document before submitting this application to ensure their banners adhere to the Town’s Street Pole Banner Program Policy.

Due to the nature and timing constraints of the banner program, decisions on the appropriateness of material will be governed and decided at the sole discretion of the Town. All decisions regarding street pole banner applications are final.
The Town of Aurora Street Pole Banner Program is available for use year-round, subject to banner installation schedules as determined by the Communications Office, weather and other Town directives permitting.
Banner applications will be approved on a first-come first-served basis, in accordance with the provisions in the policy. Applicants can apply for banner spaces during the Banner Scheduling Period of October 1 through November 15 of each year.
Recognition for sponsorship shall be limited to no more than 25% of the total area of the banner.
The Town of Aurora’s Communications Office may refuse any application based on schedule conflict, banner design, sponsor, or other factors as deemed appropriate under the provision of the Street Pole Banner Policy.
Banners will be installed by the Town’s installation vendor; all installation/removal fees are the responsibility of the Applicant.
The Applicant agrees that it will indemnify and save harmless the Municipality of the Town of Aurora and its officials, employees, servants and agents from all costs, losses, damages, compensation and expenses of any nature whatsoever suffered or incurred by the Municipality and sustained or caused by the Applicant’s banners, and from all claims, demands, suits and judgments against the Municipality of the Town of Aurora and its officials, officers, employees, servants and agents.
Applicant agrees and understands that the Town of Aurora Street Pole Banner Program is a service offered to meet the objectives stated in this policy, and that the program can be discontinued without notice.
